Physical Therapy Near Fort Knox

One-on-One Care Without the Rush

Knox Physical Therapy Specialists provides private, one-on-one physical therapy sessions for patients in Fort Knox, Radcliff, and surrounding communities.

Every visit is 45–60 minutes with the same Physical Therapist. We do not double-book patients or rotate you between providers. We evaluate the root cause of your pain and create a treatment plan designed specifically for your goals — whether that’s returning to work, sports, daily activity, or simply moving without discomfort.

What You Should Know Before Starting Physical Therapy

  • You can contact us directly if you’re experiencing:

    • Back or neck pain that limits your daily activities

    • Joint pain such as shoulder, knee, hip, foot or ankle discomfort that hasn’t improved

    • Balance problems or recent falls

    • Difficulty walking or decreased endurance

    • Weakness following illness, surgery, or injury

    • Stiffness or limited mobility that isn’t resolving

If pain, instability, or movement limitations are interfering with your work, exercise, or everyday life, it’s time to seek evaluation.

  • Kentucky is a direct access state, which means that in Kentucky, most patients can start physical therapy without a physician referral.

That means less waiting — and faster results.

  • Pain is not an inevitable part of getting older.

While changes in activity level, injury history, or medical conditions can affect how your body feels, persistent pain, declining strength, and loss of balance are signals that something needs attention — not something you simply have to accept.

The body is adaptable at any age.

With proper evaluation, targeted treatment, and progressive strengthening, we can address the underlying cause of discomfort and help restore mobility, stability, and confidence.

You do not have to “just live with it.”

  • Many clinics operate on a high-volume model — scheduling multiple patients per hour and relying on aides or assistants to oversee exercises.

If your previous experience felt like an assembly line, you’re not alone.

We built Knox Physical Therapy Specialists because patients deserve better.

    At our clinic:

    • Every visit is one-on-one

    • Each session lasts 45–60 minutes

    • You see the same Doctor of Physical Therapy each time

    • Your treatment plan is never handed off

    No juggling multiple patients.
    No rotating providers.
    No feeling like a number.

We focus on precision, attention, and meaningful outcomes — not volume.

Your First Visit

Comprehensive Initial Physical Therapy Evaluation

Your initial evaluation is a full 60-minute, one-on-one session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. This dedicated time allows us to truly listen to your story, understand your concerns, and identify your goals.

During your first visit, we will:

  • Discuss your symptoms, daily challenges, and mechanism of injury

  • Review your medical history

  • Perform a detailed assessment of movement, strength, and overall function

  • Identify contributing factors to pain or limitation

Together, we will develop a clear assessment and a personalized plan of care tailored to your needs.

Our goal is to ensure your treatment is collaborative, focused, and aligned with what matters most to you.
